What's Happening:
This year, Empty Bowls brings back our legendary annual soup FUNdraiser event, with local chefs/restaurants going head-to-head in our 2nd Annual Chef Showdown, each bringing their best soup for a shot at best in town!

Here's how it works — taste your way through soups from some of the top local restaurants in town, then cast your vote for the People's Choice Award and see if your favorite matches the judges, who are awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Your ticket also gets you a pick from a table of unique, handmade ceramic bowls, made by regional artists — take one home as a reminder that too many of our neighbors go without food, and an empty bowl shouldn't be anyone's everyday reality.

NEW THIS YEAR: Empty Bowls Puerto Peñasco is oﬀering a VIP experience for guests who want a front-row seat to the Chef Showdown. Limited to 40 spots at $60 per person, VIP access includes shaded balcony seating above the crowd, a complimentary welcome drink, dedicated wait staﬀ, and exclusive small bites — all in addition to sampling every competing soup with bread and water.

Why It Matters:
Every bowl at this event stands in for someone in our community whose bowl is too often empty. All proceeds go directly to our local partners — Banco de Alimentos Puerto Peñasco, Palabras de Esperanza, and DIF — who work year-round with families in Puerto Peñasco who are working to get back on their feet.
